Hair Transplant in Budapest

Hi All, I am new here. Just wondering if anyone has experiences with hair transplant in Budapest? By comparing the prices, it's much cheaper than hair transplant in the UK. For some clinics it costs about £1 per hair for FUE.

Thanks.

Hello, do you have a particular clinic in mind? I am not aware of any Hungarian hair transplant doctors or clinic providing top quality work. They do have some very good cosmetic dentists but not any ht clinics that I know of.

Hi garageland, thanks for the reply. I've considered the one called Hair-Palace (co.uk). I just found it via google search. It provides a consultation in London, but the transplant surgery will be done in Budapest. It costs only £1 per hair strand, which is much cheaper than the surgery in the UK.

I did a few researches on this forum and found that most people don't recommend hair transplants in the UK. But haven't found any thoughts about hair transplants in Hungary. Do you have any idea? Cheers!

A boil-in-the-bag website registered about 3 months ago.

The owners probably also do Dentistry, Taxidermy, and Dance Lessons.

I'll do your HT for 30p a graft. I have a scalpel and a microscope (Thomas Salter, circa 1976). I suggest I'm as good a bet :)

Sounds like somewhere to be avoided, I would avoid anywhere that charges per hair, rather than per graft.

Lead Dr is DR. ZSOLT FÁBIÁN

He is a general plastic surgeon, as far as I can tell this is his main website:

www 'dot' fabian 'dash' plasztika 'dot' hu

(No links here so spelled)

There are a lot of negative reviews (in Hungarian) for this guy, particularly with boob jobs.

Amazing what you can find in 5 minutes of googling.

Hi Modenese, thanks a lot! I've tried to find some reviews of this clinic (but I searched hair palace co.uk and haven't found any). Honestly, I almost decided to go there! Thanks again!

The hair palace opened up their website and were using photos from the Hasson and Wong website. They were using Bobmans photos and saying his name was Neil from the UK. Think that says enough on the subject.

Hi all again, there's another clinic in Budapest called 'Hair Transplant Abroad'. website .hair-transplant-abroad.co.uk/ hair-transplant-abroad.co.uk/ It also has an office in London but the surgery is done in Budapest.

Do you think this one looks any better than Hair Palace, or they are just the same? Hair Palace says that it started operating in 2001, but the above comment showed that the website was just registered a few months ago. Hair Transplant Abroad says it was founded in 2009. So I was just thinking maybe this one says the truth. (I don't know how to check the website domain).

The main doctor of Hair Transplant Abroad is Dr. Molnár Miklós. I googled his name but haven't found much info about hair transplant. beautyhungary.com/cosmetic-surgery/dr-miklos-molnar.phpbeautyhungary.com/cosmetic-surgery/dr-miklos-molnar.

Any advice would be appreciated!

P.S. And are you aware of any pics on the website that it used other clinics' photos?

Peter, If you press button A and it gives you a massive electric shock, would you get up and press button A again straight away?

Forget the Budapest clinics and travel to a reputable clinic or you may spend years trying to rectify your decision dude.

Hey Peter when I see a post like yours the first thing that comes to mind is that this guy is full of crap. You €™re not looking for advice as you so easily dismiss it. Like having cosmetic surgery is no big deal as long as you are getting it for $1.00

But then I could be completely wrong and if that is the case I only wish you well and encourage you to keep researching.

People who are desperate will take desperate measures, this should not be the case but its a fact for most people with hair loss and the scumbag clinics out there prey on this.

Cost should not be an issue but the fact is, it always will be for a lot of people and that is why people look for cheap clinics and end up with cheap results.

That's kind of funny and tragic at the same time hahaha
BTW good point. I heard that hair transplant has highly developed in Poland lately. They're all in this medical tourism now.
