Looking spot on for three months Fred. And as others have said, donor looks great, absolutely zero evidence of having had anything done.

4 months (and 10 days) update

I think there is some improvement, again, I'm in the very early stages but I'm quite happy with what I have already. People still called Mr. Clean when I was on holiday in Morocco though . Unfortunately, I only have one picture from the front this time, since I don't have anyone to take it for me in the same environment as the other pictures.

The picture

All your comments are welcome :).

Looks very good at the 4 month mark.

I think you will be able to keep the same very short hair style and it will look absolutely fantastic. No one would ever know you had any work performed and that is exactly what a hair transplant should accomplish.

Fred

Looking great so far and should give you a great baseline for planning your 2nd HT sometime in the future.

The short style certainly suits you and having read many posts of yours not just on here but other forums too, i know how much having a hairline means to you.

You are beginning to get that hairline back again now, best wishes for when the full result becomes evident in 9mths time.

Thanks for writing about your hair transplant and how it affected you at a young age.  You have given hope to young guys like myself who don't want to be bald, your research and cautious approach have proven successful in finding a doctor who understood your needs and delivered the goods.
I wish you the greatest growth as this is a huge step you've undertaken, I eagerly await your next set of pictures.

Hi Fred, how long did the redness last as you have fair skin like myself?  I think you are going to have a good outcome.

It vanished almost as soon as I removed the scabs.

I rarely stay red long after an injury, I know it's unusual for people who have fair skin.

Thanks for your comment! :)

Hi Fred,
I am in a very similar situation as yours.
DPA, Norwood 5, 24 years of age.
I never took finasteride, never will. Same goes for other products, nono.

I have contacted several very reputable surgeons, but got turned down.
My hope is that your result will enspire me to take the plunge.

I can understand why people will not use finasteride , quite a bit of concern . However, Minoxidil works !!! regaine foam does something . Best regrowth I had was when I was just using a 15% strength minox ( perfect images solutions) before FDA banned it. Noticed some higher strength solutions starting to appear on ebay again , I question the opinion that 5% minox is good enough

It won't be long before you start enjoying the result of your procedure.  ;)

6 months update

Still improving. I think it's not bad since it's supposed to be only 40-50% of the final result.

The pictures

And here are other pictures with a higher resolution:
