Another 2000. I do not have more than that left anyway. De Reys told me I even had only 1500 grafts left, but I do not mind pushing the limit a little even if that means having a thinner donor area.
After that, I will have only beard grafts left if I want to get small improvement, and temporary SMP as a last resort. I really hope better treatments will come along, but those procedures will at least allow me to wait for them with more peace of mind.

How many beard grafts could you use on your head before it starts to look a little different?  Have you heard of any REAL promising solutions?

Not more than a few hundred, as I don't have a very thick beard.
I'm still hoping for a better medication that will give you real regrowth.
Apparently, a lot of trials are currently going on and we should keep an eye on them.
Those who come to mind are Setipiprant, Bimatoprost and Replicel.

Hello Fred, would you use Dr De Reys for the beard grafts if you go down that route, or would you use someone else?

De Reys doesn't do beard grafts so I think I would turn to Doganay in Turkey.

Thanks Fred I've researched those, they are a possible/maybe they work.  How is your head looking?

fantastic result, congratulations. I am at the same age with almost identical hairloss to yourself so this is very reassuring.
Have you considered an SNP procedure to fill it out? I'd say you could have the appearance of a full head of hair

Checking back on your progress Fred.  At one year it looks as though you have full coverage, it looks good.  Have you lost more hair or is it pretty stable these days?

SMP remains a possibility but I prefer a less is more approach. People never seem to find my hair suspicious, which is good.
I've been losing ground at the back of my head, but half my crown seems to remain stable in the end. I'm still using minoxidil and I'll probably need another hair transplant at a point.
Probably in a few years.

If an admin or a moderator is reading this, can you please delete this thread? I removed all the pictures already.

If a member of the other forum happens to check this thread, just know that you can now find me here: https://justsomeguy5.blogspot.be/
I'll soon post the 4 month results of my second FUE hair transplant on that blog too.
