2400 FUT
Almost a week since 2400 FUT with Dr Bessam and Nilofer Farjo. The scar and grafts are healing well.
Do the hairs always fall out?
I cannot recommend this surgery enough, highly professional and manage your expectations from the outset. Its as much as them choosing you as you choosing them. I had looked at other surgeries but none came close. From the initial consultation with Mick and Dr Nilofer Farjo to the day of the operation I was treated like I was the most important person they were dealing with. I was on a tight timescale due to work commitments (please don't confuse this with me rushing into this) but nothing was too much trouble. Mick gave me the reassuring smile that let me know that if they could accommodate it they would. I instantly felt at ease, no hard sell and no pressure. I was actually sent away to think about it and put in contact with previous patients.
Another nice touch when the date was set Mick offered to pay for the hotel for me. A nice offer but I had already made arrangements.
Over the weekend after the surgery I had a minor question to ask and in reality expected a reply on the Monday. I sent a text to the mobile number(for emergencies on post op instructions) and within 10 mins I had received a reply from Dr Farjo himself giving me the reassurance I needed. Now that's what I call service.
If like me you are unsure of who to go to and who to trust then go visit Farjo, you will see for yourself that they are only interested in you and will manage your expectations correctly and professionally, I will keep this post up to date to see the progress and gauge for yourself.
Pics attached of pre op, post op and 1 week down.
I met with friends today and they did not even notice I had a HT.
I am also using finisteride to stabilise and hopefully prevent any further loss. I got a years supply on this forum for £150.
