Being a new member in this forum, I would like to greet each and every one and post my personal experience.
I am 28 years old and I recall that the first signs of my hair loss started at the age of seventeen, close to the School Panhellenic exams. At first, I thought that it would have been a result of the exams overwhelming anxiety and I ignored it but it soon started the problem to become pretty obvious...
The very first thing I did was to use the Regean product but due to my inconsistency or other factors I didn t have the wishing result. Then I decided to visit a dermatologist in Athens where the diagnosis was that I have a second gene of hair loss (an uncle or an aunt had it) which I inherited and as a result, as Î grow up Î lose the thickness of my hair on the top of my head. I would like to mention that I lose hair only from the top of my scalp and not from the side or other parts of my head.
I have been working lately in Dubai and addressed the DHI in Dubai. It was the only Medical group I was aware of and I had some sessions of PRP hair treatment in the past in Greece when I was a student. What I appreciated was that they were really helpful as far as the cost was concerned.
In Dubai they examined my case and they informed me that I would need the whole direct hair implantation treatment they offer. The treatment they had suggested and I will eventually do is the DHI DIRECT.
I would like to mention that the price they told me for the transplant was far exceeding my budget... like everything here is adapted in the pricelist of Dubai.
So I addressed the DHI in Greece and after discussions we have arranged to undergo the transplant at the end of November. Once again they were really supportive in the offer they made me.
In that point, I would like to express my uncertainty and my second thoughts for my decision to undergo that transplant; how I would be the very next day and how satisfied I would be about the final result. I would like your opinions, and generally speaking I would like to build up a constructive dialogue and share our experiences...
I am planning to update this post... before, during and after the transplant...
