KSL HAIR CLINIC DISASTER

I want to warn everybody out there considering a hair transplant about this company called KSL. They are in Glasgow and I think may be in England as well. I was naive and stupid and didn €™t do any research at all before having my hair transplant with these cowboys.
You need to do research before going anywhere and I wish I had done. They totally shafted me and ruined my hair. It has cause me a nightmare so don €™t go to KSL. They offered me a payment plan and I fell for it. Otherwise I would have had to borrow the money from my parents. It €™s a total joke the whole company. They ended up charging me £7000 quid for 1200 grafts and I only got about 360 and only 100 grew!!! My hair was a mess and looked terrible.
I have now had my hair fixed by another clinic who were amazing! They offered a totally different experience it was like night and day. I wish I done my research and had went to them first and saved money and pain.

Companies like KSL need to be stopped. There must be more guys out there with a similar bad experience at KSL. Please reply because more guys need to tell others about what has happened to them. I don €™t want anyone else going through what I have went through.

sorry to hear about your experience. Ive seen a lot of their stuff recently as they are all over Twitter and Instagram.

Their business model is simple, give free/reduced priced HT's to footballers from Celtic and Rangers and a few TOWIE Z-listers (check their website) and then use them to endorse their results on social networking. Seems to be working and some of their results look ok to be fair (see Anthony Stokes), but I'm guessing the average punter doesn't quite get the same treatment or surgeon as these minor celebs...

Glad to hear you've sorted your situation out.

Don't be fooled by Anthony Stokes results. His is just as bad as the rest and I suspect he uses a ton of hair fibres. If you Google some of his photos you can see the front of his head is a different colour from the back.
Last time I spoke to Fraser at The Glasgow Clinic, it sounded like they'd turned into an accident and emergency for ex KSL patients.
I've also seen there's some guy on another forum trying to get enough patients together to start some kind of class action against them. Although he does highlight the difficulty of going after a company that lodges a different company name every year at companies house.

Hi Rob,

Good that you have been helped but as you and others have said, this should not be allowed to happen in the first place.

What the hell is going on with the authorities who allow these places to operate?

Stay Clear from KSL, I too have been to Glasgow Clinic to see if they can do anything again to sort out my hair but they have advised that KSL have taken too much donor hair to fix the crown of my head. At the time of the transplant they binned the extra hairs that the took out. The surgeon only extracted the hair and made the cuts on my head. The implanting of the hair was done by the receptionist??? I have plenty more stories on my experience and want this company to pay for the issues they have caused me and others!

Dear CowboyHT.
You will need to provide images and more information to back up your claims. You could be a rival clinic out to tarnish their name.

That's shocking Cowboy. What options do the Glasgow clinic say you have moving forward?

*edited just to say I'd not seen the admin reply at the time of my posting. I agree pics/more info should be posted to back up the claims.

I can confirm I have seen CowboyHT, he is a genuine ex-patient and is not working for a rival clinic.

I appreciate not everyone wants to share their images, but here's two other examples showing sections of badly scarred over harvested donor areas:-

Wow that's awful i'm glad that the first poster got some resolve and help from another clinic and i hope cowboy get's help down the line too to fix his problems. Is this the clinic that were pictured not using loopes during surgery or am i getting confused*nl. I know that Towie guy's hairline is ridiculously low and unnatural.
