Hey guys. I've just had my first fut with Dr. Ball at the Maitland clinic can't remember the total grafts bit it was just short of 3500.I am 31 and have slowly been losing my hair since about 20.I started Propecia 5 months ago after my consultation. The whole team at the Maitland clinic were amazing! Made the day a lot easier that's for sure. And I am pretty happy with how the results are looking. The pics were taken the night I got home after the fut. I had around 1000 into the crown and then the rest in the frontal area and temples!

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Congratulations on your recent procedure. You've chosen a great doctor/clinic. I like the hairline shape and that amount of grafts will make a big difference to your appearance when grown in. Couldn't be happier for your pal.
Thanks so much for sharing. Please update us as things progress :)
Best wishes BN

Hi Hudeani (love the name!)

Thanks so much for posting about your experience.
The recipient area looks very clean like it should. Can tell you've been diligent about spraying with the ATP post op care spray.

Here is your surgery total and graft breakdown: 3464 grafts

1 hair grafts - 788
2 hair - 1960
3's & 4's - 718

We look forward to following your progress and we're here to support you every step of the way!

Thanks guys. I will update more once I've got through the first couple of days.
Thank you again Janna and the rest of the team. You were all wonderful! And yes its been going on every half hour without fail! The swelling is kicking in nicely now but its nothing that I cannot deal with. But other than that the implanted areas are pain free and the donor area looks really tidy.have made myself a nest on the sofa where I am wedged upright to avoid laying on the grafts, and that's working really well so I have managed to get some much needed sleep.

A fresh photo from just now. Looking nice and clean still. Really happy with how many grafts are in the implated areas. Is so much more than I was expecting. Especially in the crown.

My body is usually a fast healer as well so that will help. But Dr Ball and his team are definitely perfectionists and spent quite some time after the grafts were placed making sure everyone was placed correctly and then really cleaned it up nicely.
I will update as much as I can! Really can't wait to hopefully have a bit of a hair style again!

Day 2
Going to give it the first light cup wash later on. My forehead is a bit swollen. Giving it lots of ice flannels and massages. The stitches are a bit itchy and sore today but nothing that bad. Not looking forward to the shedding stage as I'm starting to get used to the new hair line lol.

Your hair transplant looks very good. Your doctor must possess a lot of skill.

Hi,
Well done on taking care of the recipient and donor areas. Both are looking very well looked after.
For the vaseline - when you start massaging the shampoo on and off, you be able to work the greasiness of the vaseline out. I know it's messy but it does help the scar to heal better.
