Can I ask - why do guys with such early hair loss get hair transplants? It seems like he could have regrown or maintained quite a bit of hair on finasteride and rogaine alone. It looks like an outstanding result - I'm just curious what drives these young guys with minimal recession to go for surgery.

The patient is using Finasteride and Minoxidil to maintain and possibly promote new growth. His recession had progressed to the Norwood 4 stage. Taking his age of 32, his Norwood level and use of medications, he was a good candidate to undergo hair restoration surgery.
As you can see by the images presented, his appearance is greatly improved, which in turn has increased his confidence.
