This patient is in his early 60 €™s and went through the mill many years ago.
Two transplants and two scalp reductions left him with a depleted donor area as well as a difficult scalp to work with.
We were able to harvest just over 2,000 grafts and he had an average hair count of just below 2.
Despite all of this and his fine hair quality we were able to move him to a better place.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Poor guy he really did go through the mill trying to restore/keep his hair back then. So glad you managed to get him to a better place. It's hard to tell from the pictures and i'm guessing they were much worse in person, but just how bad where his actual scalp reduction scars as iv'e seen some pretty horrific ones over the years.
Thanks for sharing i personally love these types of procedures where people who have had it tough finally get to a better place hair loss wise.;)

Thanks BN. I didn't see this guy in person but according to Mick the scarring was pretty bad.

I find these cases particularly satisfying because although the patient is never going to have a dense head of hair, they can look 'normal' again and move on with their lives.
