Hello Everybody,

This is a special case that Dr. Maras and HDC €™s medical team had to deal with, of a patient with poor donor area in terms of both density and naturally low number of hair per follicular unit. When the patient consulted us was wondering if possible to go ahead with FUE hair transplant as his expectation was a complete solution to his hair loss.

The plan was to proceed with two FUE sessions extracting maximum number of grafts possible at each time. I am presenting the completion of his first procedure and photos of immediately post op the second.

1[suP]st[/suP] Procedure: 3250 grafts

2[suP]nd[/suP] Procedure: 2400 grafts

No medication is been used

Regards

Alex

Great job, Alex. I think he looked fine already after his first HT. How many grafts/cm2 was it in his donor before his first HT?

At this case his donor was approxiamtely 70 grafts/cm2 however when we say someone has poor donor area we do not refer only on how many fu's/cm2. Two main important parameters are the number of actual hair per fu and also the quality of the fu's which as you can see at his donor photograph prior to the procedure these two parameters were not in his favour.

HI SADbutTRUE,

The reason he is not on any meds is the patient's personal choice. Many patients want to avoid meds due to possible side effects and because some patients are against meds on principle.
