Would temp SMP be possible on the same day as a HT

Theoretically would it be possible for someone to have a HT on one section of the scalp like the front and a little SMP on another like the crown to add density at the same appointment.
Would the post op instructions conflict each other and are there any other constraints to doing this.

Good question....
The post op care for surgery and smp treatment alone would prohibit both to be done on the same day. Of course the main constraints come during the procedures itself. If SMP first, you couldn't get any fluids besides ink locking spray on the smp site. There's bound to be blood and saline spray needed during surg. If surgery first, you couldn't touch the recipient area at all while applying ink. The ink gets washed away routinely, which would be difficult to wipe without touching grafted area. We definitely would not do both in same day. Temp SMP is applied over two days too, making it more difficult.

Nice reply from Janna.

I don't personally know much about SMP and I am very confident Janna knows more about that than I do but from a surgery point of view we would not recommend the two are done in close proximity.

Scalp healing post surgery is of paramount importance as is any fluids introduced to the scalp also. The body needs time to heal and I myself post surgery make sure to really up my health regime and am very careful as to what I apply to the scalp topically and even as to the type of foods I eat that effect healing, blood circulation, blood oxygenation etc, that I believe do influence healing.
