Hi Guys , not been on this site for a while as I decided that after 3 failed FUE sessions that id never be able to afford to get the look im after with an H/T .

Ive always had my head buzzed (am a n/w7) aged 49 - even if I had a full head of thick hair id buzz it on "0" . The only way id ever get that look now is using a Beard hair transplant .

After discovering "his" hair clinics and meeting a few guys and seeing them in the flesh ive now decided to get SMP at "his" and im getting it done tomorrow in Birmingham and ive started a diary on there forum .

I thought id post this info on here as Big Mac was a great help to me with himself and this site when I was at a very low ebb , also I know what its like when we are looking for anything new that might be a way for us to beat this Male pattern Baldness that ruins so my of our lives .

Im just starting this link after finishing work , I leave for Birmingham to stay at a Travel Lodge overnight - session @ 9am tomorrow .

Im keeping my fingers crossed - hope this turns out well and gives hope to others .

Good luck David, hope it goes well.

Now for my unsolicited opinion, don't get too aggressive with the hairline...for example i say Paul and Kevin's result from the videos you posted as opposed to jayson's looked the best and most natural/age appropriate.

Thanks folks am back home now and very happy with how it looks so far, but as the 1st sessions are a basecoat /testing session ive only looked at it from about a foot away and not at the back/sides yet . Face looks framed now and session 2 next Monday is when the Magic happens as they say . May bring temples down a bit .

Lots of photo's taken by "his" and ive asked them to post them on my diary when they get chance ( full pics no blocking of the face)

So far im a very happy bunny and Paul did a great job , now got to wait and see how much fading etc occurs . Im not going to start with looking really closely until after session 2 as this is a process .

Thanks again guys for your good wishes and I will keep you updated .

Hi Bullitnut - gone the permanent route mate , its looking great morning after although yesterday was just the basecoat/ template . After 30 years of no-hair / failed transplants (3) it feels strange . Just keeping my fingers crossed that it doesnt fade to much / soak in .

His have still not uploaded my photo's yet but believe me im happy .

Im lucky as an ex Boy Soldier who spends 5 mornings a week in the gym the "his" shaved effect is what I wanted from my 3 transplants , so in 2 weeks I should have the look ive always wanted at a fraction of the cost/pain .

The photo's you see on the HIS website do not do it justice and in the flesh its amazing .

Just had an e-mail from DHI offering SMP !! - cannot see it on there main website yet ! went to a link on the e-mail and what info there was is not impressive ! , mind you why would I use a company that took £ 20,000 and I end up with Zero hair growth !!!

Well ,had my first head wash last night and am now able to moisturise , scalp was getting very itchy , has faded a bit since Monday but that is normal but as you will know if you have done either this or H/T it is like being on a emotional rollercoaster .

Just hope the fading stops now , also had 1st shave after the treatment , feel far better now , session 2 is now 48hrs away - that is when the "magic" happens with SMP fingers crossed .

@ skiny - agree with you about my HIS photos but if you read the thread you will see that I say seeing pics like that are more likely to put me off and the you tube videos are far better . After a few days your head looks nothing like those photos , the dots dont go blue it is not tattoo ink , if you look at someone closlely about a week after session 2 then yes it would fool you , different guys then experiance different levels of fading and some area s of the scalp ( mainly the crown) do soak up the ink more - most guys seem to have a 3rd session to correct these issues .
If ur a n/w 5 or above this is your only real option to gaining the ILLUSION of a full head of "bic 'd " hair .

@ bullitnut - no video for me mate , would have done one if they had asked before started work .

As you will probaly agree its always better if you can see the before and after pics for comparison and verification -
- At 1 week post session 2 it looks different every day as it is still settling in and dots getting smaller , also looks diff in every mirror and all diff types of lighting

In actual fact even I dont know 100% what it looks like !!
