Hair Transplant on a 22 year old guy

This 22 year old guy recently had a hair transplant to lower his hair line. Did he really need a hair transplant? His hair line looked fine to me. At 22, I hope he knows the potential risks of future hair loss.

Do you see anything wrong with this picture?

I think the guy in the picture is a reality TV personality, seen his face on TV before.
To answer your question Big Mac, no, he didn't need one in the first place, his original hairline was slightly mature if anything but by no means a cause for concern. I'm 25 with a Nw3, on medication and wouldn't think about getting a HT for another 3 years at least! I have went on the website of The clinic who conducted the procedure, there isn't even a mention of the Dr or technicians carrying out the procedure, instant red flag. It seems like they would give anyone a HT who walks in the door.

Bad idea giving him a transplant. Probably live to regret it.
What's wrong with the 3rd picture? Techs aren't wearing any magnification, no surgical hats and their hair is hanging loose.

My first HT in the UK was done without magnification::;mbI wonder if this poor guys entire procedure was done without any form of magnification?

I made the mistake of having a hair transplant/s at a very young age which is why I am here. In retrospect, I strongly encourage young guys to try, and exhaust rogaine and propecia before considering a hair transplant. There is a plethora of unethical doctors out there preying on young desperate guys just to make a quick buck.

If it wasn't for Dr. Sanusi Umar saving me in a major repair surgery, I wouldn't be where I am today, which is why I'm shaving my story. I hope some can learn from my past mistakes and make the right choice for themselves going forward.

Big mistake having a HT at such a young age, unfortunately it's a mistake many have had to live with with and regret dearly down the line.
I bet them normal spectacles are in fact loupes in disguise )(_::
On a side note just read your blog hairhope...made for interesting reading and i'm glad you got sorted by Dr Umar.

The lack of magnification is the first thing I noticed. And it's not so much the idea of getting a hair transplant at 22 that is so bad, because there are exceptions that make sense, just the hairline design and the number of grafts needed to make it look good is what makes me cringe. Too low, too straight and too many.

I wish everyone the best but agree with alot of posters here. I do not think it was a wise decision and time will tell.
