Does it look like my hair is thinning at the crown?

It honestly looks much better in the mirror and I think the camera picks up on certain things that people don't see in real life (I already asked my sister and she said she couldn't see any evidence my hair was thinning).

Anyway, I might just be being paranoid, but if I am going bald and want to do anything about it I should probably figure it out now.

Hi Jabba,
It's difficult to tell if you're thinning as I don't know what the crown looked like a year or two ago. If it's thinning, it's minor and there's not enough loss for you to take on surgical procedures or through medical therapy.
You're very young and I personally think that you should wait to see if your hair loss is progressing definitively before acting on it. The safe route at this point is possibly using Regaine Foam that's over the counter.

The flash being used in all but one of your photos is making it look thinner than it really is. That's just how light works when taking pictures so if you want a realistic view, turn off the flash.

Thanks everyone for your advice. It isn't thinning or receding at the front, so I think I'll just wait and see for now.

Take regular pictures at the same angle without the flash as Joe advises. Compare them every few months, this should help you monitor it and possibly try the meds if you are thinning.
