Hi all. I had my hair transplant back in October 2020 and thought I’d share a few before and after pics to show my progress to date. I can’t recommend Dr Farjo and his team enough. They have been so pleasant throughout my whole experience including the day of surgery where everyone made me feel so relaxed and put any fears to rest!

Did you have a high number of larger follicular unit groupings?
Farjo is one of the best in the UK. Good choice.

i didn’t find out the final number. Maybe it’s something I can ask at my check-up. They did say there was a good mix but not sure exactly how many 3s and 4s I had

Hello Kris and welcome to the forum.
That is a very nice result for the number of grafts. I can imagine the new full hairline will make you look younger and give you the feel-good factor. Has any of your friends commented on how you look?
What's the density like behind the hairline?
Finally, how old are you and are you on any hair loss prevention regimen?

Yeah, a lot of people have commented how natural it looks and it’s such a transformation. I used to have a good cover-up haircut (which did not work in the wind!!) so some people hadn’t appreciated how much I was receding!

The density looks good to me. It only looks a bit sparse when extreme light is above me (eg a spotlight or if I put my phone torch on it) but so is my native hair in the middle so can’t complain!

I’m 39 and haven’t tried medication yet. My hairline has been the same for 10 years now so I’m hoping it’s stopped receding but if it starts again I’m going to try the meds

It’s quite possible your hair loss has reached its peak. Just keep an eye on it as it’s always best to catch it earlier and try to stabilise it.
I remember those windy days that I dreaded. Under bright lights most will look thinner. Yours looks very natural with no hint of a hair transplant.
