as a long term fin user, I was thinking of getting my test/ oestrogen levels checked. I would be interested to know how they look. I have been using since 2002. Anyone else had their bloods done?

Had my testosterone levels checked a few years ago after being on Finasteride for a long time and mine were in the normal ranges....can't remember exactly but I know they were fine.
interested to hear what yours are though dude.

Had a blood test a couple of years ago, and requested a testosterone test at the same time as I'd taken finasteride off and on for nearly twenty years. My doc confirmed my levels were normal.

Hi
Testosterone levels were bang on and no increase in estrogen levels.
Doc did suggest having a break but I would be worried about losing the benefits. I did read that there are also benefits to DHT in the body and it may not be a good thing to block conversion of test to DHT.

Thanks for sharing your blood test results after being on Finasteride for a long period of time. With so many patients on Fin to slow progression of hair loss, its comforting to those just starting on it that their blood won €™t be altered by long term use.

Maybe a mandatory test after so many years is advisable.
