BHT hairline repair with Dr. Umar - 4 year update : D

Hello brothers,

I can't believe it's been four years since my 1031 leg hair graft hairline repair/re-shape with Dr. Umar.

Five years since my initial successful BHT test!

I must say with all humility, that I never expected this great a result. I was simply hoping to diffuse my 1990s HT hairline a bit using a small number of grafts just to see what was possible at the time when BHT was new.

This result has far exceeded my expectations on every level.
I can officially say I am not concerned about my hairline anymore whatsoever.

Attached are some pics outside in the Cali sun that show how the leg hair grafts are growing as strong now as when they first grew in.

Check out the "root" of the BHT grafts. One can see how perfectly these grafts are growing out of my head with no pitting, ridging, or "root effect", etc.

My head hair grafts form the 1990s aren't nearly as seamless.

Anyone sporting a "pluggy" HT hairline should research this solution, imo.
It was cost effective, accomplished in one day and reasonably priced.

Thanks a million, Doc!
I am one happy camper.
My only concern is maintaining my current state of happiness.
It's been a long HT road but well worth it.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I'm amazed every day looking at those leg hair grafts "doing their thing".
Remarkable, imo.

The leg hair grafts are growing about the same length as they do on my legs.
Maybe a bit longer.

The idea was simply to create that "soft zone" before the actual "wall of hair" begun made up of those older micros and FUs.

Also leg hair was placed in between my older grafts to disguise the "pluggyness".

Yeah I understand the idea behind it, looks like it has softened it up a lot, wouldnt know it was an ht.

In all fairness, my "pluggy" hairline looked good by industry standards at the time until I lost more native hair.

The clinic I used in the 1990s was PMI of Beverly Hills.
Dr. Peterson, now retired, did all the strips (along with his techs).

IMO, he did the best he could with the technology available at the time. I witnessed his practice evolve over the years from "plugs" to minis, then micros and finally FUs.

However, he can't hold a candle to Dr. Umar so far as what can be done in 2010.

;)

My hair is about 1 inch in back, shorter on the sides and about 2 inches on top. Very short for me but I'm getting used to it.

At this length, my strip scars don't show. Phew.
But when I'm ready to have them repaired, I know just who to see.

Looking good.

If you keep your hair at that length or longer theres no need to have your scars repaired unless they bother you somewhat.

Thanks for the update.

Take care bm.

One of the first leg hairc transplants. It would be great to hear back on how this has lasted.
