Softening a BAD FUE donor area

Prohairclinic

Prohairclinic

Prohairclinic FUE and SMP
This patient has had 2 FUE sessions (not Prohairclinic).
The donor area is in a bad shape.
Since the overal result was not good either this person decided to go for the shaven look.

Here is the donor area after 2 sessions, follow up sessions will be performed to improve even more.

you have a big picture of the before, but a barely visible picture of the after......

LOL..............I agree, Beverotti you put up this gigantic before picture and then somehow in you own mind you convince yourself that putting up a small after picture is okay. Obviously it is going to draw comments like what's up, what are you hiding and that could very well not be the case so why put up such a small picture............LOL.........I mean really c'mon............not trying to make you feel bad but how can you not know this.

I put up one blurry picture in my own thread because I was running late for work. As soon as I got a negative comment I realized just how bad it looked and went back and took a better picture and gave an explanation.

I am wondering, would this patient had a better result if he had a few sessions of fraxel on the donor scar before? It is still too visible in my opinion...

4 awesome repairs with SMG
It is still visible i agree, but i also think the goal of softening the look has been accomplished and it does look better....not perfect and probably never will be, but it is improved with smp.
Does look kind of irritated in both the before and after pics with the redness....obviously nothing to do with the smp though

I do agree it's a major improvement for this guy, I am just wondering if it could have been better if he softened the scars with fraxel beforehand. And/or with a 3rd smp session.
And btw, it is infuriating to see this kind of butcher work (regarding the donor scars) it seems that a large punch was used and there was not effort put into scattering the extraction holes.
This was a FUE procedure without the benefits of FUE.
