Super result steve. Intra op pic shows why bhr are one of the best! Density is superb!

Was this done by dr.b or the new doc at the clinic. Do both docs use the same techs?

Regards
Hh

Thanks for the response. Any update with your own case? Are bhr planning to offer micropigmentation? You would probably be an ideal candidate for it, have you considered it?

Hi

My own case I've had no surgery since last update. I had planned possibly another one but other issues have prohibited it, non hair related.

To be honest can't see why I would need SMP at all as anyone who has met me sees the amount of hair I have and I would personally always opt for more transplant surgery and not SMP.

BHR have no plans to offer it and as said I personally would never have it as it really isn't for me but each to their own really and I am sure some are very happy with it but I see us keeping to transplantations and not SMP.

I have seen a lot of it [SMP] in person also but that is for another topic.

Sorry steve the smp remark wasnt meant as an insult i also think your result is one of the best and that includes fut results. Just taught it might be useful with your cropped style.

Hi Hairhunter

No offence taken and I know where you were coming from with the hair cut and as you say some do use it with my style.

Always happy to meet you or anyone who wants to see me in person.

Id be too envious of your hair to meet you stephen haha.

Sorry for hi jacking this thread slightly. Jus wondering how did you approach your case in terms of follicle groupings? Sometimes when we see patients shaved down you can notice a difference from area to area. Mainly hairline looks denser or central core where as you seem to have a good consistant density throughout. Is there a difference in approach for a buzz cut?

You should meet Steve, just to see his hair in person, it's worth a look, no visible transition from the areas that were thin to the transplanted hair, great job.

Thank you Sparky for the kind words.

A transplant, and especially with my loss, is really about an illusion. I wear my hair very short, no concealer, no SMP, nothing to hide anything, you see it as it is and to look good shaved is not easy and variations in density can show very easily.

My plan from the beginning was a shaved look and we planned accordingly. The design, lay of the grafts, groupings etc all played a part in this. I was fortunate enough to have a very high density and good groupings and of course a doctor who knew and understood my goals and how best to achieve them. My advisor at the time was also a great input and educated me in many things and this is the part of the advisor's work, to make sure goals can be met.

As said, happy to meet anyone. I've met people today and they tell me as all do the result in the flesh beats the photos hands down. I can say I will always be grateful for my personal transformation and to all those who played a part in it.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes i always find photos alway show hair in the most harsh ways. So i can imagine how good it looks in person.

Dr. B on top of being a top surgeon seems to have a great eye for design and planning.

Did the above patient have any previous work done? The tuffle of hair left in the frontal 1/3 looks slightly more angled than natural. Maybe its just the way its brushed

No previous surgery undertaken. The hair there is natural and also miniaturising. Maybe hard to tell but more noticeable from some angles.
