Scar Camouflage SMP with Longer Hair (pics)

Hi Guys
This client wants to keep his hair a bit longer than the usual close buzz that SMP works well with. He has had numerous hair transplants and was left with very abrasive scarring. This before and after is after only 1 session. Ill update more after photos after the client completes his follow up session.

Hi Matt,
Nice start! You can see it's already starting to soften the appearance of the scars. Has he considered wearing his hair more of like a "high and tight"? Keep the top length as is and just go shorter on the bottom? Or, is he ultimately growing it longer all over? This is a tough length (IMHO) to get a optimal result with because the hair to scalp skin creates an illusion of it's own. And, the texture differences of the scar always seem more apparent. It's like the hair can create a flashing neon sign to the scars. You have your work cut out for you. Nice start! I have no doubts you will deliver a great result. How many sessions are you anticipating?

Hi Nicole

This client wants the option to do both -- to be able to go "high and tight" keeping the scar area short, and also wants to be able to grow out over it. I agree that the length he is at in the picture is a tough length for complete camouflage...but it will make a massive improvement anyway, and itll be up to him to decide what length he is most comfortable with.

The trick on my end is to properly camouflage the scars to work at a short hair length, at the same time given it a strong enough color and density to help camouflage at a longer length. More to come!

Matt

Below is an updated before/after after this client's 2nd treatment. Much more coverage and concealment, and he is thrilled that the severity of the scars has really diminished...
