My second hair transplant surgery: repair work from last botch-job!

My name is Noah, 21 years of age, from Norway.
Last year, December 4th. 2013, I had my very first transplant of 2000 grafts/3500 hairs. It was not a successful one, alas. It looks thin and the majority of the grafts are very poorly angled/placed. My previous "doctor" was Prasert Seesillapachai. Do NOT consult him for any hair related matter, trust in my Words. It has truly been a terrible experience. I played the fool, and went Ahead With a hair transplant, not knowing he was a butcher or had any artistic sense, whatsoever. He ruined me, and I'm the one to blame. But enough of that.

One of Dr. Wong's representatives replied to my e-mail the other day, regarding my situation, my options. This is the gist of what he said:

I have two options (but it will be decided on the final evaluation before the surgery):

1. "He feels that if the existing hairline in the front can be transplanted into without lifting the entire hairline out, that may be a good option." I'm told he could also possibly FUE out the hair in the corners/outside of the temporal peaks, and use them to build on the new hairline.

2. "If he feels it is not feasible to do this, he will take out the entire hairline with a possible fue of the corners that are unable to be excised with the removal of the hairline."

(not sure if I'm allowed to copy and paste this, but my sole intention is to share it With you People and hear you out)

I have included photos of my hair. It looks so ****in terible, it makes me want to yell out in frustration and cry my eyes out.

I have also included another two photos of what I would like to achieve (the last two images), if at all possible.

I've really done goofed, haven't I...

Hi and welcome to the forum, sorry you've had a poor experience and at such a young age.If I were you I would go for another strip surgery excising out the existing scar providing you have the laxity, then I would have the grafts transplanted into the hairline and the gaps behind it. I would also have the corners and any stray grafts taken out via Fue, raise the hairline via FUE extraction and then re use grafts in said transplanted areas.
What has this doctor said about your end result.

You're probably right. I will give another fut some more thought, as the yield is greater also. If Dr. Wong agrees on carrying out the procedure, I would prefer for him to extract as many as possible of the badly angled grafts and move the hairline up a bit, if the fue doesn't leave too much scarring. I may need to pay the clinic two visits to fix this mess. Aye, the hairs outside of the temporal peaks, must be dealt with, be it with laser or via fue.

Do you mean what my previous butcher of a hair transplant surgeon said about the end result? Well, let's just say... he's not replying to my Messages anymore... what a maniac and a coward he is. I would love to put him out of business for good, but that's easier said than done. I have opted for a refund though (and that's not too much to ask for, considering what he did to me)! But in the end, I have myself to blame for this hell, and myself alone. :/ Some of the other top-doctor's I've messaged, referred to him as a "mad doctor". He kept telling me "don't worry, you'll be fine". Well, guess what... I am everything BUT fine. I've had much hell in days past. Hopefully I will have more happiness in days to come.

Thanks for taking interest in my post, I really do appreciate your time! ;)

I would definately try to have them taken out via Fue if possible and then re use the grafts. You say you're opting for a refund, has the doctor agreed to this.Do you have any pre op pictures before this surgery, I must admit I've never heard of this doctor, how did you come across him.

I've gone and contacted the hospital directly. I have pre-op photos, yes. Might post them here, not yet. To my great misfortune, I came across him whilst on other errands at Yanhee Hospital (the same as he works in). I had been considering getting a hair transplant for some time, and it just happened. I was rash and naive. Simple as that. :/

Unfortunately when people make these rash decisions they quite often end up in situations like yours. I know it's been traumatic but you can get a good repair job to make your hair look normal again.

Here is my amateur opinion. I don €™t think you can keep that hairline given your hairloss pattern and age. A better plan might be to remove the front half of what was transplanted along with the temple area. It €™s a harder and longer road but long term it might be a better plan. Most importantly slow down and really take the time to think each and every option through thoroughly.

You should take a look at Fred from Belgium thread. He is a few years older than you and his hairline seems to be positioned in a way that might be a good choice for you. Good luck to you.

Making another rash decision out of desperation is exactly what you do not want to do.

The doctor has tried to recreate your youthful hairline but failed in his artistry ability. All the options previously said could be viable depending on what you want to achieve. If you leave hairline as is removing corners and certain graft you may lose more hair which will require more surgery. You could have the hairline punched out to create a more mature one but run the risk of visible scarring. I've seen hairlines heightened by a strip being incised out, again there's a risk of the scar showing.
Are you taking any preventative measures to stop your hairloss?

I have played the fool. I hope I can sort this mess out someway or another. :/

I'll make sure to LISTEN to reason this time around, and keep you guys updated on my every move. That way there's no chance in hell I will fail.;)
