Hi guys.

Ive just signed up and finding it helpful so far!Im a 24 year old male with thinng hair, or at least it feels alot thinner than it used to. I dont think its noticable to others yet as i still have plenty of coverage. I first noticed it because im always seeing hairs in the shower, on my pillow in the morning and all over my hands when styling my hair.

Is this cause for concern? Should i try and do something about it now? I first noticed this about 18 months ago, and thought it was a temporary thing but it still has not stopped! Please help! Should I consider finasteride?

It's normal to lose 100 hairs per day so it could be just your normal hair cycle as you look to have a thick head of hair.
If you're worried still you could make an appointment with a Dermatologist or a Ht doctor. I personally think you look fine and wouldn't advise you to start any meds without seeing one of the above I mentioned.

Your hairline looks normal to my eyes. No need to stress out.

It's totally normal to lose around 100 hairs a day. Once we start noticing it however, we start magnifying it in our minds. I've been there done that. ;)

Your hair looks to be in great shape to me based on that photo alone. However, if you're really concerned, you can set up a consultation with a Hair Transplant Surgeon who can evaluate your hair and do diagnostic testing to see if your hair is thinning/miniaturizing. If you're really stressed about it, this is something you can do for your peace of mind if nothing else.

Looks ok. If you're worried just try to stay healthier for a bit (better food, reduce alcohol and smoke if you do so) and don't use too many styling products or heat.
Maybe your hair just need a break to get stronger.

Good luck!
