Evening all, this is my first post!
I am 35 years old and have what I'd call a classic case of MPD. This has been something I've contemplated addressing for the last couple of years and I'm finally taking the plunge to have an FUE procedure. I'm fortunate in that styling my hair in a certain manner conceals much of the hair loss which is primarily in the temple regions.
I live in Glasgow, Scotland and had a couple of consultations locally. I was impressed with one clinic I visited although I felt that the price point was significantly higher than mainland european clinics.
I narrowed the process down to Harald Eberson, Emorane Lupanzula and Christian Bisanga. Dr Lupanzula's clinic wanted me to travel to Brussels beforehand for a chargeable consulation, which did not suit me, and I did not receive a response from Christian Bisanga's clinic. I'm sure they perform great work, but as the dialogue with Dr Eberson's clinic was open and frequent I was given encouragement that they would be the best place for me personally. Their estimate of 1500-1800 grafts is also validated by my face-to-face consultations locally.
Does anyone have experience of a procedure with Dr Eberson? My research has only found positive feedback, but I'm hoping that maybe someone out there has used him personally.
I'll be sure to post updates throughout the process which begins in a couple of months!

Myself i haven't seen many results online, but i have read some positive reviews about Dr Eberson and it sounds like hes doing solid work.
There is a couple on here that look good.

You could always send him a personal message using the PM function if you have any questions for him. I did that once with a clinic on here and found it a very useful tool.

Hi and welcome to the forum Tamconch.

I`ve met with a patient of Dr Eberson who had a great result from just over 2000 grafts. His hairline looked very natural with good density.

I`ll look forward to following your progress once you`ve had the procedure.

All the best.

Bm.

Hi Tamconch, all the best for your surgery. I am not sure why there was no reply because we are very hot on replying to emails but possibly it may have gone to spam as can happen often and when people say they had no reply.

Apologies for any inconvenience and all the best with your surgery.

Hi BHRClinic.

Thanks for coming back to me. I emailed on 1st November. Originally my message failed as I had sent too many images but my second attempt was successful, according to Google at least!

Hello TamcConch

I also have had an online consultation with Dr eberson. he even called me one evening to answer all of my questions which i thought was very good of him. not many other doctors would take the time out to do so i dont think. like yourself i have not seen many other results other than the Footballer james Mcfadden which was excellent. i have narrowed my process down to Dr harald eberson, Dr lorenzo and Dr couto. Both Dr eberson and dr lorenzo seem very conservative which is not a bad thing i quess. Good luck with your operation and i really look forward with interest to see your final result ;)

Hi there tamconch I've had two procedures performed by dr eberson in the last 15 months,in fact the latest one was only last week!!i will be posting a detailed piece on my experiences later this week along with plenty of pictures but I just wanted to say beforehand that dr eberson really is top class and you will not be disappointed,I know the worry it can cause when you haven't got a first hand account of what your procedure will be like and what to expect, the internet is a fantastic source of information but not everyone likes to speak about there hair transplant experience for one reason or another

Hi TamConch,
You stated in your introduction that you narrowed down your choices to three surgeons, two of which are in Brussels, and you dismissed them both due to two reasons. One never responded to your initial inquring email(BHR, which is now cleared up) and the other, Dr. Lupanzula, wished for you to come to Brussels, all the way from Glasgow, for a consultation that is not free.
Dr Lupanzula's clinic wanted me to travel to Brussels beforehand for a chargeable consulation, which did not suit me...

I am not privy to the exact discussion but I find the notion that this was the only option presented for your consultation to be extremely unlikely. Working with this clinic I know they give two options for consultation to patients that inquire from outside of the region. The first is a Skype consultation, which has no fee, and the second is in house, which is preferrable by any hair restoration clinic as it allows for the patient to receive the most thorough analysis and education and it allows the clinic to remove any doubt as to the candidacy of the patient.
I'm only bringing this up because I wish to clarify to readers that Dr. Lupanzula does not require patients to travel from other countries simply for consultation without alternative options for consultation via Skype. This would be highly inefficient and unreasonable for any clinic to require this.

Hi Joe. As extremely unlikely as it may seem, that is the email response I have. Whether in responding to me the clinic have overlooked my being an overseas patient, who knows. That is possible. I'm happy to forward you the email. The doctor does good clean work and I doubt anyone would be deterred by my comment. Cheers, Tam.
