FUE performed by Dr. Feriduni – 3034 Follicular Units in a single day session

FUE performed on a 41 year old Caucasian male with:

- Norwood Type III-IV ant. Class T
- Donor density of 68-72 FU/cm2 in the temporal region and 88 FU/cm2 in the occipital region
- Hair diameter of ~68-78 µm


Treatment plan:

A Follicular Unit Extraction with 2200-2400 FU to reconstruct the hairline and frontal third.


Performed procedure (March 5th, 2015):

A Follicular Unit Extraction procedure with 3034 FU:

- 542 single hair FU
- 1979 double FU
- 513 triple hair FU

Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.75mm €“ 0.9mm)

DR. Feriduni has always been one of my favs for not only his clean, artistic work but also his presentation for the forums. I like that the graft breakdown is present and all angles presented with good lighting. Again, I've been away from the forum for many years so maybe they are all doing it this way now but he was a pioneer.
