Met a man with SMP on holidays

I was in Magaluf last week and at about 4am at the end of a night of big drinking I was still able to spot a man sitting outside a bar with SMP. I had to ask him about it. He was French and admitted he got SMP done.

I've been considering SMP strongly for a couple of months now and was gutted to be honest. It looked terrible. The difference between real hair and SMP was noticeable and if I can identify it when I'm p*ssed at 4am in Magaluf surely others would easily. It just looked like a tattoo on his head rather than replicating hair follicles.

The pictures and videos I've seen of SMP had almost made my mind up that i'll book myself in after Christmas for it and was so excited for it. Now i'm deflated. He told me the company that did it and I have heard of them and pics on here look great.

Is it a case of seeing SMP in real life is different to seeing it on pictures and videos?

Not all are equal in their skills. It must have been pretty awful for you to spot it from a distance with alcohol impaired vision.

Which clinic did this French guy use? Did he say how long ago it was?

He said Milano which i'm nearly sure i've heard of on here and looked great. If not Milano then something sounding similar!

I don't think I asked him how long ago he got it done. I wish I was sober at the time to have had a better conversation! He seemed a bit awkward about it too though and tried to change the conversation.

You can't beat seeing SMP or HT results in person. Photos are very misleading particularly those with darker after photos.

Hi Coopman. Do you mean misleading in a bad way? Have you had SMP yourself or seen many?

Misleading in a bad way?

Photos can be misleading in particular when there is a difference in the lighting levels whereas the before photo is in bright light and the after photo is in a darker light. Also photos can be edited to make the results look more impressive. If you still have hair take top down photos of your head with a flash and then without a flash and see how thicker your hair looks in the one without the flash.

I have not had SMP and if you see past posts from myself I do not think it is a good idea (only my opinion), but I appreciate it can look very good and realistic on the right candidate with a top end of the market SMP practitioner and nobody would be aware they were tattoo dots on your head.

I have seen 3 SMP patients (plus another from my local gym but not up close) in real life. 2 were exceptionally good and 1 less so. The exceptionally good ones had carefully crafted hairlines with recession at temple points. I would not have known it was SMP from close up, however I would have done if they had not shaved in the previous 24 hours. (stubble around backs and sides would be showing after 24 hours).

Any SMP Clinic should be able to introduce you to at least 3 of their patients if you set up the meetings. The benefit of this is not only will you see it in person you will also find out who done their treatment (the actual practitioner not the clinic). SMP Clinics that have more than one practitioner will have some excellent ones and some that are not quite at that level.

Best wishes.

Yeah that's what I mean that photos are either edited or in a light that makes them look better than what they actually are.

These people that you met with SMP, do you know what clinic they got their treatment? I'm considering Vinci in Belfast if you've heard any reports of their work.

I know what Clinics they used but not who done their work (I did not ask as Iit had no relevance to me)They is a guy on here from Vinci who it might b worth sending a PM to in respect to who was the Practitioner and meeting patients of that Clinic.
