One month post op FUE, donor still visible

Hi guys,
Now exactly one month later,, my donor area is still well visible. I had FUE 3100 grafts harvested to fill the top of my head and some on my forehead. Is my donor healing normally? Or is it over harvested? Shockloss maybe? I had hoped on a better result at the back of my head anyway.

Could be shock loss or over harvested. You will need to add some pictures before your surgery, plus any donor extraction ones. Then, an opinion from members can be made.
What has your doctor advised?

3100 grafts is a big FUE session and a lot of trauma for your scalp. The back of your head appears to have healed well but chances are you have some shock loss from the size of the session and how close each graft was extracted to one another as Bastion says photos will help.
At this stage you can only wait that it will recover over the coming months.

I had shock loss in my donor area, check my thread out if you want. You'll be able to see from the pics how quickly it thickened back out again.

Maybe i was just lucky though.

Hopefully, it`s just shock loss which will grow back. Any chance you could document your story in the patient section.
Welcome to the forum too.

Likely to just be temporary loss, time will tell though. Who was your surgeon?
