My experiences with SMP treatment from HisHair Birmingham UK

Hi guys, this review is for anyone considering getting SMP (specifically from HisHair who did my treatment). I had my treatment done last June/July at the Birmingham clinic - the first 3 sessions were with Lauren and the 4th touch up session was with Andra. I needed 4 sessions in total as I experienced quite a lot of fading in between treatments. The 4th session was completed in November 2016 and since then I have had no further sessions.
I have added 2 photos of my head which were both taken in the same light and location, the first was taken the night before my first session and the second photo was taken about 2 months after my 4th session. I can honestly say the treatment has been life changing - it has taken years off me and has given me a massive confidence boost (no more wearing hats all the time!). Being of an olive complexion I have found that the SMP results have been very realistic. Apart from a couple of people hardly anyone has noticed I had anything done which I found surprising given the big difference in how my hairline looks.
I can wholeheartedly recommend HisHair to anyone considering getting SMP done, I have had nothing but great service from the guys in Birmingham (special thanks to #### the manager - top guy). A true test of a business/company is when you have to have something done under warranty when no payment is to be given - when I needed a 4th session under warranty for the fading touch up it was as simple as sending a couple of photos and then getting booked in for the session. That shows how genuine HisHair are and that they can be trusted to look after their customers long term.
A final point I will make which is the only negative I can think of, I have experienced fading with the Sun - the problem being sunscreen contains alcohol (which is not recommended for SMP treated heads and can itself cause fading) and the Sun has UV rays that fade the dots. This is a problem for which the only solution is to either avoid the Sun or wear a hat. Apart from that I would say the whole treatment has been a very postive experience and if I had to go back I would 100% do it again.
Thanks for reading my review, I hope it helps some of you reading this who are thinking about getting SMP done!
