Academy Masters Meeting 2017
The 25th Academy Masters Meeting was organized by the London Hair Restoration Training Academy and DHI Global Medical Group and was held in Greece, on 17 and 18 of June.

During the meeting the attendees had the opportunity to learn all the details on the new Anti Aging treatments of DHI Global Medical Group and the new DNA Hair Biology Test and Hair Biology Test, both offered from all DHI locations around the world for the best hair loss diagnosis and treatment.

DHI VIP Clinic of Lavrio (where FUE strarted in 2003 and Direct Hair Implantation a few years later) hosted Live Workshops on Unshaven Sessions, Repair Sessions, Female Hair Line Restoration, Beard Hair Restoration, MPG Scalp and Linear and PRP.

The global conference on the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss was attended by numerous DHI members from all around the globe, as well as world known scientists and Professors of the National University of Athens.

How does the DNA hair biology test work?

The DNA Hair Biology Test is an extraordinary new aspect recently added to the DSA (Diagnostic System for Alopecia) which provides answers as to whether oxidative stress has caused damage to the DNA in hair follicles of all those suffering from Androgenetic Alopecia.
Oxidative stress occurs in the body when an imbalance exists between the proliferation of free radicals and the body €™s natural ability to respond to and detoxify their detrimental effects by neutralizing them with antioxidants. Oxidative stress is thought to contribute to a number of health problems, including hair loss.
The new DNA Hair Biology Test was developed by a team of scientists at the Histology and Embryology department, School of Medicine, National University of Athens (UOA) led by the distinguished Professor Vasilis Gorgoulis during a research project in cooperation with the DHI Global Medical Group.
