I recently saw a video posted by joe tillman about dr cooley ,in one segment the dr recommends this shake, has any one ever tried this product , is it just used after a hair transplant or is it something that can be added to your products for hairloss, propecia rogaine etc.any thoughts greatly appreciated.

It's a healthy supplement for before and after a hair transplant or to generally help your hair. I've never tried it, so can't say if it has any benefit.
It is produced by Dr Larry Shapiro, no connection to Shapiro Medical Group. Here is the website.

I know from my experience when I first started on this forum one thing I definitely felt help improve hair growth and strengthening was supplementation and a good diet, but it stands to reason as your hair is basically a protein anyhow and you are as they say what you eat. I'd recommend everyone use a good quality whey protein but just buy it from some where like bodybuilding ware house where it's quality but cheap. Works for me.

You can follow my little journey (can't be,ieve it was 6 years ago) here I had great results from mess but also definitely noticed an improvement when I supplemented with whey protein and a cleaner diet.

I'm a big believer in nutrition and how it's tied to hair health and that poor nutrition can indeed affect hair loss. I've spoken to Dr. Cooley about Help Hair Shake multiple times and he swears by it and from what Dr. Larry Shapiro tells me a lot of other doctors do as well based on how much he ships out every month.

I've never tried it myself but it's always been something I've had in the back of my mind to try. My issue is the long term commitment because I don't like adding more and more things to my daily routine. I like to keep it simple but if you are one that drinks protein shakes daily it may be worth considering.

I agree with keeping it simple, so its eaiser to maintain over time, I currently use propecia and rogaine foam, and ill give the shake a try .

I wonder which different ingredients this has compared to the regular Whey protein shakes.

Distasteful marketing. Highly overpriced. Stay away from this.

I looked at some Whey protein packs. There are different varieties and ingredients, so not sure what extras the help hair shake has. It may help and may not. If you`re thinking of trying it, do some research on it and let us know if it helped.

I believe anyone dealing with hairloss n is planning a hairtransplant is first to try to stabilize their hairloss with propecia n rogaine foam, prp with experienced doc, n for me trying this shake dosent hurt ,then with enough reaserch ,never let emotions let you make to rush your decision , then plan your hairtransplant, you know you have done everything you can do before going under the knife.anyway that's what this hunble man thinks

I wouldn't buy anything sold by Larry Shapiro, just eat a healthy diet, we all know what's healthly and what isn't healthy, don't waste your money on this tut.

Thanks for sharing this information with us. I'm having my second procedure with Dr. Umar at the end of this month. I may invest in these shakes.

Hey Joe was just curious if you've heard of or had experience with any other supplements, vitamins, compounds, etc. along these lines that some of your doctors also recommend. I saw someone post on another forum Ron Shapiro told them they've been seeing a lot of good results with 82M the compounded minoxidil of Dr. Bauman. Was just curious as I'm always looking at things to add to my arsenal.
