PATIENT'S DETAILS

œ“ 28 years old, NW III, losing hair since the age of 18, no hair loss history in his family.

œ“ Taking Finasteride 1mg since one year and a half before the surgery.

œ“ Medium caliber hair.

œ“ Normal follicular units.

œ“ Low % of hair in telogen phase.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

This young man came to visit me to find a solution for his receding hairline and temple corners.

During the pre-op consultation, we agreed upon a FUE procedure consisting in 2000-2200 grafts.

Eventually, we were able to harvest 2203 grafts, including a very important number of singles (678) that were used to rebuild his very first hairline.

At the 8th post-op month mark, the patient already experienced a noticeable regrowth.

After one year and four months, he submitted the pictures below, which show very natural results that make him completely satisfied about the work done.

SURGERY DETAILS

œ“ 2203 grafts

œ“ Technique: FUE

œ“ FUE scoring and extractions executed with my WAW system, now widely used in the sphere of FUE.
It consists of a very precise pedal that enables to control the movement of the punch, that I also designed myself.
The main advantage is to reduce substantially the number of damaged and transected hair, thus to raise the quality of the procedure.
The system is now used worldwide and several dozens of surgeons or centres are already using it.

œ“ Incisions: 40-45/cm2

œ“ Grafts Breakdown:
˜ž 689 Single FUT grafts
˜ž 781 Double FUT grafts
˜ž 571 Triple FUT grafts
˜ž 162 Quadruple FUT grafts

œ“ Total number of Hair: 4612

œ“ Average Hair/Graft: 2.09

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Absolutely love this! the hairline looks great and the fact he's opted for a more mature hairline that's not 100% asymmetrical at both sides really adds to the naturalness imo.
Great result Dr Devroye thanks for sharing;)
