My recent FUE prodedure in Turkey

Hi Everybody

I had a FUE procedure done in Turkey on the 3rd January 2018 and was told I would need 4000 grafts moved to the front and middle of my forehead to match my current density. I reluctantly agreed to this despite feeling that this seemed quite high. It has been 5 days now since my operation and I am not convinced that 1, they took 4000 grafts from the back and sides and 2, they implanted anywhere near what they really took. The latter worries me the most as if I am right then they will have thrown away the grafts they didn't implant.

I have added some pictures of the donor area from the day after my op when the bandages came off as well as some from the recipient area.

I am looking for any professional opinions on this matter. I realise that if my suspicions are true then not only is it too late for the grafts that I suspect were binned but also that I was ripped off. My main concern is to find out how many they really took from my donor area and how many I have left for future procedures in years to come. I did ask what my maximum to be donated from the back and sides and was told 6500 in total.

Thank you for taking the time to read this I appreciate it.

Kind regards

KH.

Hi KH, welcome to the forum.
It`s hard to tell how many grafts have been transplanted. Are the immediate post op pictures the ones you took or the clinic? If you have a top down picture immediately after surgery it may help to evaluate the numbers.
If you have time, you can make small grids on your extraction pictures to make it easier to count the holes.
Hopefully, you got the amount quoted and the result turns out good.

Hi

I had the pictures taken in my hotel the day after my op when the clinic removed the donor bandage, the pictures are the first 4 donor area pictures.

Kind regards

Did the clinic take any pictures while you were there?

Hi

They did of the recipient area I'm not sure if they did of the donor area though.

Kind regards.
