I had a hair transplant with Advanced Hair & Cosmetic Clinic, Middlesex. I was promised a full head of hair by the doctor. I`m not sure how many grafts I received but you can see by my pictures it was not enough to provide any sort of density or decent coverage.
I`ve had a repair surgery by a different clinic to try and fix this. So far its looking good but I may need more work if my donor will allow it. I will post some pictures of my repair and the clinic soon.
I`d like to hear peoples thoughts on my first surgery. It was done late 2015. Having researched I compare my work with late 80`s early 90`s transplants.

Hi AHACC.
Wish I was welcoming you to the forum for the right reasons but unfortunately not. That work is terrible, very old school. I’m taking a look at the clinic who did this.
On a positive note, it’s good to hear you’ve had one repair surgery that went well. I’ll look forward to seeing the pictures.
If you have any questions, please ask away.
Wishing you good growth and all the best.
Bm.

Had a quick look.
I see they have fake reviews on their homepage.
This review is Dr Paul Shapiro’s patient.
Dodgy clinic alert.

Here is the patient from 2009. Definitely not William from London.

I'm getting really tired of seeing such poor clinical judgement in 2018. I feel for the OP. This looks like similar work I had done in 1992. The size of the grafts, the spacing, etc.

How many grafts were you told you received? Was this strip or some form of FUE?

Hi Joe.
I`m not sure how many grafts were estimated. I was told I would get full coverage that would look natural.
I did not know much about hair transplants, I came across the clinic online and believed what they told me.

Omg I feel for you bud...been in a similar situation myself. doctors who are doing this should be put behind bars imo not just struck off. Good to hear your getting repaired and I truly hope you get some resolution to your hair loss woes.....God knows you deserve to.
Take care pal and thanks for posting your experience...if it stops just one other person going through what you've had to endure then it's got to be worth it.
Best wishes.BN

Hi Mick. I paid just under 2 grand. A cheap price compared to some but still a lot of money. I`ve had to pay more than that for my repair surgery which I`ll add pictures later.

Thank you Bullitnut.
I`ve had a lot of help from Mike at Cosmedica. He has been a great support and is still helping me. Dr Acar has done a great repair so far.

Here is a view looking down from around 4 months. As you can see, the plugs have been removed and redistributed.
My donor is thin, not sure if it’s safe to extract any more. I may add some body hair in the future.
I belive Advanced Hair wasted a lot of my donor grafts, through transaction, negligence and low skill level.

Thanks SadbutTrue. Once this grows out I’ll see if more body hair is a viable option. The way it’s progressing I think I may be very happy and not need further work.
I’ll upload a few more progress pictures later today.
Again, big thanks to Mike for all the support you’ve gave through these dark moments of my life.
