RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
This 33-year-old gentleman came to visit me to find a solution for his receding frontal area, focusing on his hairline restoration.
The strategy adopted was based on two main considerations:
1) The patient wanted to transplant a maximum number of grafts in a single session.
2) Given that the patient wasn t willing to take Finasteride again, we had to err on the side of caution in regards to his donor area management.
In fact, also considering his family hair loss history, it is likely that he will need a second procedure in the future to address his upper mid-scalp and vertex, if his hair loss will progress.
We therefore decided to proceed with an FUT procedure, with a conservative hairline design which will be appropriate for him also during the next years, when he will reach a mature age.
The patient finally received 3202 grafts: with this amount we were able to restore his hairline and add density to his frontal area and mid-scalp.
The results pictures were taken at our clinic during his post-operative consultation and show his situation one year and six months after the procedure.
