Norwood 7 transplant

Hi all. I am classed as a norwood 7 and couldn't find many videos or pictures online with results and expectations etc so I thought I'd share my procedure here. I had my procedure on Monday 13 March 2023 and its now the next day . I've just removed my bandages. Apparently my donor area is nothing like they had seen before with most grafts containing 3 to 4 hairs on each follicle. Sometimes 6!. Here are some photos and I'll try and update as I go along on this journey. I have my second procedure dye in 6 months to fill the crown

I've not seen a case on a Norwood 7 so I'll be interested in following your progress!
For that amount of grafts I'm such a large area I imagine it will be pretty thin coverage but it will still make a massive change to your appearance

So far the coverage looks quite good but I think I'll just post photos daily and see what you all think? Thanks tho

Forgot to say. The doctor said i also have enough for another 2000 without comprising my donor area and I'm thinking of getting 500 out of my beard

Day 5 update from my op on Monday. Think its going well
Donor is healing nicely and hair is growing over the area where hair was taken from. Scabs are slightly starting to come off. Very itchy yesterday and for some reason donor area was a bit sore last night in bed??

How many grafts did you have in total?
My 1st session was on Monday. I had 2020 grafts. Like I said on my earlier posts , the doctor was amazed at my existing donor area. I will post some more pictures tomorrow of progress as its a bit late now. That's if I can find my post lol

Do be honest. I've never really seen norwood 7 levels of transplant pictures online and not a lot of help anywhere, especially with realistic expectations, do I thought, well sod it, I want it done and I'd like to show other people in my position, an idea of what they might achieve?

Hi all. Its now Sundays morning, so 6 days since my op last Monday. A lot of the scabs have now gone and I am liking what I see! Gutted that it has to go thru the shedding phase. Just want to get to October now so I can have my 2nd procedure to do the back of my bonce!!

2020 grafts and told I've easily got enough donor left for the same if not a few more and thinking 500 from my beard.

As a first pass the 2020 grafts will provide a thin coverage on the area covered. The density will be on the lower side but the number of larger graft groupings will help with the illusion of density. Your healing looks to be going well.
I’m looking forward to following your progress.

It's now Wednesday 22nd March. So that's 9 days post op. I feel like I'm healing well. Had a bit of discomfort in donor area but more as if bruised , not sharp pain. All in all I'm happy how it's going. Nice now I can wash it nearly properly lol

1 full month on!
Well it's now been 1 full month since my op. A lot of the hair has fell out but I also have a lot of really short hairs that either never fell out or have grown thru my scalp?? Seems early for this to happen. I did have a prp injection straight after my op so don't know if that made a difference? What's everyone's thoughts on this?
