Hi Bigmac, all the members and readers.
It has been a long time since my last post, the forum looks great with its new look.
I came across Kyle Christie recently and noticed his hairline has changed from the low pluggy one he had. He must have had quite a bit of it removed. It looks like a normal hairline now. I searched online to see if there were any updates but nothing came up. You can check his hairline out on Instagram where I found recent pictures of him. Below is what he looked like with the dodgy hairline and his new look.

It looks like he has had a lot of the old hairline punched out. I`d guess he is waiting on the area to heal fully before having some finer hairs put in. Or he may be happy as is because it looks so much better now.
Good for him getting it fixed.

He did get it fixed. It isn't perfect, but it is FAR better than what he had. We hope to do a new interview soon to talk about it and he'll be documenting on his Instagram account soon, too.

How did he live with that hairline? I would not believe such a fake looking one could be produce with modern methods. Stuff like this scares the hell out of me.

Yes, I do. I'll talk about it soon, after Kyle starts to talk about it himself.

It's quite easy to make a hairline look bad like Kyle's. It's quite difficult to make them look natural. That is the problem with hair transplant surgery today. Anyone can get involved and start performing surgeries as they only really need to buy some punches and have basic anesthetics and a corner to work in. It's nothing like it used to be when FUT was the dominant form of hair surgery. You had to have skill with a scalpel, and to learn how to perform FUT meant you had at least some form of training from a colleague.

He looks so much better now. Looking forward to hearing about his repair and it is a good warning to others that researching hair transplants should not be taken lightly. As Joe mentions, there is a skill involved that not all doctors or technicians possess.

He looks significantly better! Joe, Im hoping i can say the same soon. Im hurting and will probably go full public aka interview for the ethical doc that saves me from my ordeal. It is truly a nightmare to gave folks constantly question and stare at a hairline that was supposed to be dense and showcase. Total nightmare. Kyle Christie, if your reading, you look good with the correction so far. Just to give you a hint as to what im going through after 3 failures:

Who did your surgery? The growth does not look good at all. You should ask Dr. Lupanzula if he can sort yours out like he done for this Kyle guy.

Todd, Thank you for the honesty. i know, it is terrible. And scarred my scalp too. Folks suggest i go public when getting this sorted with an ethical doctor. I know a doc blames another doc, but i could care less as my scalp needs to get fixed. whats on my scalp is wreckless. I can say doctors shouldn’t indicate or promise what you cannot deliver and be honest and dont hide medical records or pictures when a patient requests them- this goes for any doc.

Im growing impatient every day as i continue to suffer. It is absolutely wrong what has happened to me and many professionals/folks concur. My Hairloss wasnt even bad when i first started this stupid journey. it was made worse each so called repair and the third repair seems to made it more worse. First was a failure that set things downhill, second so called repair was a failure, third so called repair was the same. I put too much trust in people that destroyed my life. i am a war Veteran that actually got surgery to move on with life and be at ease with hairloss but doctor sent me downhill. This put me in a position where i am stuck trying to get this harm resolved. Trying to look natural so folks dont stare at my scalp and i can actually not be bothered anymore.

Based on experience-nape hair and body and beard hair is damaging and i don’t recommend it. Dense packing especially at 65cm2 is also wreckless . Inexperienced tech extractions are also dangerous . A lot of surgical factors created heavy risks but were done.

After these damaging surgeries, ive been given a wide range of advice by professionals that did not work on me. That I may need multiple small procedures to repair now, to scalp resections, to fut and no longer fue, etc.

You are right. Dr Lupanzula seems to do good work and i am waiting to see how these repairs come out.

New member here. I went to the same clinic as Kyle for a consultation as it’s about 3 miles from where I live. They insisted that the patient demanded that low hair line and mine would be much more natural. They then quoted 3000 grafts although I stated I wanted to be as conservative as possible. Then when shown before pictures of work well lit and post op pictures in low light at just one angle.
I was really pleased I watched those video you put up as I might of gone for it.

Glad to see Kyle reached out to you for a fix and this forum provided the information source!

It sounds as though most of your donor has been used already. How could your doctor get it wrong multiple times? Have you undergone any scalp biopsities? Possibly some reason why it keeps failing.
Has any of these other professionals offered a repair attempt? It is a sad state you find yourself in, especially when you initially had this done to better your life. I hope you can find some resolve.

Thankfully, upon review by folks I still have donor, albiet density losses in some wrecked areas but things can hopefully be done. Military has examined my scalp and there is no condition causing issues but unethical surgical methods that resulted in damages. It was primarily in first procedure, an inexpensive tech/nurse extracted- it was oriniginally a two day procedure and was set to be done one day for whatever fuken reason, the surgery was like 12 hours long risking follicle death, extreme high density recipient sites were created causing lots scar tissue, then it failed. Second surgery doc used larger grafts to insert in impacted scar tissue and dailed, third surgery, nape bht body beard hairs used with aNother risky tool and too much saline injected to etc. all these chain of events and sequence led to harm. One doctor blames the other doctor for harm and reasoning of failures. One doctor lost out and another made the money and disappeared from messaging me. I lost out the most.

Other docs did say it is repairable but has to be done nice and slow and in stages. Something i just do not have funds for. I was had with these agreements they try to make, i was misinformed, i was led to believe this is repairable for less cost, and what not. Basically, lied to in Order to play this hush game that became invalidated. My med records and all pictures were not sent to me. So many years of suffering is nothing compared what a sob did.

right now, i am trying to get this situation under control. I have all documentation, audio, emails , and etc. considering making things public When i document my proper repair with an ethical doc.
one thing i realized is how deadly marketing can be and how unethical some folks really are. No one knows the stories that occur behind the scenes and some folks only realize it when they are out in the situation. Ever since my issues ive encountered many repair needing patients from the doc that did this to me as theyve reached out to me, as well as other docs.
Thank you for the kind words of encouragement
