I remember advanced hair studio was a hair replacement WIG company that charged u 3 to 4000 pounds for a wig.
If that is the same company stay well clear

As far as I know, AHS does not offer hair transplants. You may want to confirm this with them. They may send you elsewhere, another clinic to have a procedure. If so, ask where so you can check them out.
HQ Cardiff is Dr Milne, not sure how long he has been doing hair transplants or seen much of his work. Some of the technicians on their website work with or for Westminster clinic. They have been doing HT`s for quite some time.

What is your hair loss situation? Have you been quoted anything?

Thanks for the replies and feed back. I've been losing my hair very slowly since my mid/late twenties. I had a fut transplant about 17 years ago, 1500 hairs by a company close to Gatwick airport. I've had a consultation with advanced hair studio, they quoted me £7000 for 5000 hairs to be carried out in London, HQ quoted £5000 for 2500 hairs to be carried out in Cardiff. Both companies said I had good do our areas, which I do. I've now lost most of my frontal area, but else where is good although I do have fine hair. I'm also looking at the private clinic in London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.

Who or what clinic or doctor will do the surgery for AHS?
You have stated hairs. Why are they not saying graft numbers?

Sorry but I don't have the answer to both of those questions so maybe these clinics are left alone?

You could ask them for the graft numbers as opposed to a hair count.

A graft will usually contain 1, 2, 3, or 4 hairs.
If your extracted grafts average out at 2 hairs per graft, then whatever amount of grafts they get will double to make the hair count.
1000 grafts average of 2 hairs per graft will be 2000 hairs.
1000 grafts average of 2.5 hairs per graft will be 2500 hairs.
Are they charging you per hair or per graft?

Great that makes things a lot clearer, I can not remember if they quoted me for hairs or grafts, but I think it was hairs. Their doesn't seem to be feed back on the two clinics mentioned in Cardiff and advanced has had a negative response here, but they did tell me if the transplant was unsuccessful and 2nd transplant would be carried out free of charge. I'm now looking at the private clinic in Bristol. Thanks for the explanation.

Hi mate
If the first transplant didn't work
How would they guarantee the 2nd transplant would work
U could have 2 to 3 hair transplants that didn't grow
U would lose lots of donor hair

Good point and with regards to advanced hair in Cardiff I have read a comment from a lady who was charged £4000 for a wig that was worth a heck of a lot less and she was still trying to get her money back years down the line.

Oh yeah they would charged u anything.
They weight u up when u come through the door to see if they can get a sale or not
I've done everything u can think of regarding my hairloss I had except smp and I can tell u it is a messy industry
Theres only a handful of guys, clinics that are honest and tell u what u dont want to hear, the rest just tell u what u want to hear to get u in the chair.
Really good that u are on the hairloss experience forums though
