1st wash 12 hrs after surgery? (cosmedica)

Hello,

I recently had a hair transplant with Cosmedica, all good but they gave me the first wash 12 hrs after surgery.

did I lose grafts if I got a wash 12 hrs after surgery?

I’m reading everywhere that the protocol is to do it 2 days after the transplant.

I saw others at the clinic getting their heads washed the next day as well. I’m not sure if it was a mistake or now it’s allowed to do a wash the next day

One of my hair transplants finished around 6 pm, I was back at the clinic at 7.30 the following day for a hair wash. 13.5 hours later. As long as they are careful and know what they are doing, then there should be no problem.
Clinics have different approaches when it comes to washing. They vary from the day after to over a week for your first wash.
