2.5 months in FUT and the scar looks really bad.

I had a 3000 grafts FUT 2.5 months ago, and the doctor said he went with the trichophytic closure method which is supposed to leave a seamless scar as this method lets hair grow through the scar tissue.

The opposite happened and my scar is very effing thick and obvious. Please refer to the pictures I attached.

Now I want to know if this abnormal scar formation is due to the skills of the doctor or if it is just how I form scars?

The doctor judged that my scalp had enough laxity and I have no history of forming a large scar like this (I have had operations before such as inserting titanium rod, getting stitches from a deep cut, etc).

The clinic is refusing to say anything is their fault and it’s just how I am but I don’t really buy that. I’ve read some cases that if they overharvest and get a really wide strip from the donor site, the scar can stretch like this.

I an at a total loss because I created another bald spot just to correct my hairline.

I haven’t seen many FUT but usually you’re body would heal all scars the same so if you don’t usually scar this way my thinking is it probably is your natural healing.

If it’s the scar stretching because they took more skin than they should have I would imagine it would be painful and very tight?

It's typical for scars from a FUT (follicular unit relocate) hair relocate to be recognizable from the outset, and it can require a while to a year for them to blur and mend totally. The presence of scars can be impacted by various variables, including: skin type, hair surface, mending inclinations, generally speaking wellbeing, and adherence to post-usable consideration guidelines
