3rd FUE hair transplant procedure

Hi Everyone

I have so far had x2 procedures at Hair Palace, Budapest with Dr Ljuba Zolnai who is fantastic - very professional and had great results esp the 1st where she restored the frontal zone hairline with 6000 hairs and 2nd with 5000 hairs which wasn't bad but my hairloss has continued and the island patch is thinner now as is the crown. I am suitable for 3000 hairs to be extracted from donor area and implanted (1500 grafts). I have attached photos of my first procedure in 2015. - Great results but the island patch has thinned out more. - here is the latest. - You can see this in photo and also my crown/vertex has become thinner/receded as well - again here are two photo.

I would like to hear from anyone who has had 3 FUE hair transplant procedures and how your donor area looked like after? Were scars visible and was there any hair left there? Of course it would look much thinner but does it look too obvious?

I would love to hear your thoughts or from anyone who has had a 3rd hair transplant procedure?
Thank you,

Best wishes
Sean

I assume no one has had 3x hair transplants then?
3 transplants isn't really the issue - it's how many grafts (not necessarily hairs) have been extracted and how many you started with.

We don't know either, so cannot really predict how it'll look.

There have been people who have had over 10,000 grafts and 20,000 hairs removed from the donor. However, that's no indication of how you or I would look, especially as they would have used different surgeons to us both, who would have used different extraction patterns, punch sizes etc.

Bobbins has given you a good explanation to your questions.
Your donor density/availability is something we don`t know. If you have the donor, then yes, another surgery could be done. Will the extraction sites leaves scars? Yes they will. Depending on the punch size, skill of the person doing the extractions and your skin type/healing will determine how visible the scars out. Keeping your hair at a certain length could conceal FUE scars and provide an illusion of more hair in the donor region. Some people opt for skin fade hair cuts which can help everything blend in.
I have had multiple FUE hair transplants. Most have been smaller than yours. Unfortunately for me when I had my first one in 2005 the doctor did not do a good job. The sweet donor area in thinner because of this. My remaining native hair in this sweet spot that surrounds the extraction sites has turned grey before all other areas on my head. For this reason I dye my hair which really helps and usually have it cut at a number 3.
Ask your doctor for a full graft breakdown on what has been removed so far, plus what was your original donor density before any surgery and what is it now.

Why do you not take medication?
Side effects.

I am back from my 3rd hair transplant procedure at Hair Palace, Budapest. Was busy there - they had 3 other procedures that same day. I will update in a bit.

Is it the same or different doctors doing the procedures?

Week 2 has passed and some shedding seen - Donor healing well. - Without sounding big headed. Everyone said buzz cut /crucut suits me shaven with stubble. Donor area before 3rd surgery, donor after 1st day of surgery and donor 2 weeks post surgery.
