Hair tech, I don't understand the blue line marking the scar, please explain.

Good question. This is a sliver of a strip. Within this particular strip there was a previous strip taken years before this one. The scar that was left was probably 1.0mm to 1.2mm in width. This picture shows a an up close view of the scar with surrounding hair. Please let me know if you need more of an explanation. I can draw pictures if needed?
