Hi guys, I just wanted to share my personal experience with hair loss medication.
I got an FUT hair transplant in Seoul, South Korea, with Dr. Hyun back in 2022, and the results have been great—it’s still holding up well. After I posted my results, I got a lot of questions, and the most common one was: 'Did you keep taking medication after the surgery?'
Honestly, I asked my surgeon the same thing because I really didn’t want to be on meds for the rest of my life. But the sad truth is… yes, you do have to stay on medication—at least until you’re okay with losing more hair as you get older.
So to anyone wondering the same thing after a transplant: yes, you still need to take medication. The hair that wasn’t transplanted is still vulnerable to androgenetic alopecia, and meds are necessary to slow that down.
That’s why I take it every single day. I'm not a professional—just sharing my own experience. Hope it helps!
