Amazing experience and results at Maitland Clinic

Hi, first time poster here, apologies if I make any errors. I recently had my 1 year check-in with Dr Ed Ball at the Maitland Clinic in Portsmouth. This was the second of two procedures - the first in Dec 2021 focused on the front of the scalp and the hairline, the second in Feb 2025 filled in the crown. I'm a 56 year old male, was almost entirely bald with a fringe around the sides, and with very fine, almost transparently, grey hair. Not much to work with there! I have been astonished by the results, and feel 15 years younger. Dr Ball is exceptional, and so is the Clinic in every respect. The experience was incredible, I was actively looking forward to the second procedure - not only for the results, but the whole day there is so pleasant. But of course the results are the main thing, and they are just fantastic. I cannot recommend highly enough. Now, let me see if I can work out how to post a few pics.

Wow, your result looks amazing! I bet your frontal appearance has transformed you into a younger looking guy. How many grafts for both hair transplants?

If memory serves, about 2100 for the first procedure and 1300 for the second, but I may be off there.

Welcome to the forum Gac and thanks for sharing your experience with The Maitland Clinic. It is good to hear you had a very positive surgery first time round which made you look forward to the second surgery. Were they both FUE?
Your hair looks great now. As Kevboy says and you have confirmed the younger appearance goes with the new hairline. Your result is great, very good strategic planning by Dr Ball.
