Antiseptic cream mistake

Hi, I am 3 days post op and very stupidly put some savlon (anti septic cream) on to the new graft area instead of the donor area. Lack of concentration from lack of sleep from trying to sleep upright!

it is only a small spot. Any thoughts as to what it could do?

I doubt it will do anything harmful. Have you mentioned it to your clinic

Thanks for the reply. Yes, mentioned and they said to dilute it and dab very gently with a swab. This didn’t do anything so just left and hope it doesn’t do anything

Savlon is very mild, I doubt it would affect your grafts. At 3 days the skin should be closed up with the grafts nearly secured.

2500 grafts.
Good to know, hopefully all ok and will rinse it when I do first rinse in a few days.

Maybe take a picture of the area and add it here. With you not washing your hair yet, is it mixed in with blood and scabbing?
