This comming friday, June 4th, we will be attending a workshop that demonstrates the Artas FUE robot.
We have always had an open mind about new techniques and this is an excellent opportunity to see for ourselves (and to avoid hearsay).
If you have questions that you would like have answered please post them and we will try to get back with answers.

Hi Guys,
The meeting was very well organised. Artas did a good job presenting their machine to a public of dermatologist and others in the field of hair restoration.

They where very transparent about the entire procedure and let us video record.

I did read that the transection rate is a bit on the high side...

At the meeting they claimed about 3% transection rates at current.

Also they mentioned that just recently the have changed the rotation of the punch from 800 rev to 3000 rev. According to Artas they get better grafts.
This maybe true, however almost tripling the speed could possibly also produce a heat problem imho.
