#BeforeAndAfterMondays

This patient underwent a follicular unit transplantation (FUT) session with Dr. Carlos K. Wesley in which a total of 2560 grafts were placed

The patient’s hair follicles were incubated in platelet rich plasma (PRP) throughout the duration of the procedure. This, combined with an ATP-containing storage solution has been shown to enhance survival of transplanted hairs[/URL].

As with all of Dr. Wesley’s patients, he was NOT required to cut his hair for the procedure. As a result, this patient was able to return comfortably to work and social activities within approximately 7-10 days of his procedure.

The patient returned one year after his procedure and images of the patient can be seen below.

A lot of the time when I view restoration results on the internet the patients hairline at the front changes shape completely, this particular patient of yours has added density to his own hairline which has created a very natural look.
Does Dr Wesley charge differently for not shaving/cutting during surgery?

Hi, Viking.

If you are asking if Dr. Wesley charges differently based on procedures, for example FUT vs FUE, the answer is yes.

However, If you are asking whether Dr. Wesley charges differently based on the patient's haircut and not the type of procedure, the answer is no.

Hope this helps :) Have a great day!
