Can dry shampoo cause hairloss

Whilst browsing the web i have just seen an article about a lady who claims her hair loss was caused by the use of dry shampoo.*nl Iv'e also seen a few posts around the forums in the past where posters have commented about using this stuff to make their hair look thicker.
Not sure i 100% believe it completely caused this lady's hair loss (it's in the mirror for a start lol) but it's certainly food for thought.
