Hair transplant surgery has now become one of the most common methods among youth but the main cause and reason behind this is a stress only. Having too much of the stress sometimes can cause the problem of hair loss. The other habits like heavy smoking, alcohol can have a bad impact on our health and this means that new hair grafts may not be properly formed and the roots may be uneven sometimes. Yes, a definite yes to' can stress influence the result of a hair transplant.'

I am not talking about the 'normal' stress that most patients experience after a hair transplant.

I am talking about some individuals that stand and look in the mirror every hour.
I am talking about persons that will stop and look at their hair every time they see a mirror
They sometimes dream about their hair ...

And yes, those kinds of people or soo stressed out that often the regrowth phase takes a lot longer than usual.

Stress is the cause of many health issues. Having a hair transplant can be very stressful for some, this is why research is vital before going ahead.

Stress is a weird thing as Bigmac says it can cause many different health issues. I actually know someone who's hair turned white very quickly following the death of his partner....not your average greying with age this happened very quick and his GP put it down to the stress of loosing his partner. If your thinking of having a transplant it really is best to keep stress levels to a minimum and if your stress is more than just stress (not playing down stress) and is actually anxiety or depression then I would suggest seeking help to manage it before even contemplating surgery.
