Guys really confused re: what hair products to use for thinning hair (I have already looked into FUE and will probably go with BHR in Belgium):
My current regime is:[/b]
Shampoo
Alpecin caffeine shampoo
Hairstyling
garnier fructis reworkable gum (average strength hold)
  • I also use Regaine (extra strength) [/*]
Potential Regime (after a little research):[/b]
Shampoo / Conditioner
Regenpure DR and NT?
Nanogen hairgrowth factor shampoo and conditioner?
Nanothick?
Hairstyling
Wax, putty, paste, mouse, hair spray (unsure what is best and what makes)?
Concealers
Nanogen or DermMatch?
I have never thought about using concealers, can the powder rub off onto your clothes, do they have to applied daily, do they go on after wax for example and what are the differences between the 2 above products?
I appreciate there are quite a few questions but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards
Chris

Nanogen is a concealer that consists of tiny fibres that cling to your existing hair to create a fuller look. It is held in place with a fixng spray like hair spray so it shouldn't rub off on your clothes. DermMatch is like Makeup It comes in a compact with an applicator to apply and is best around the hairline and for covering donor scars after surgery imo.

Surethick sold in the shop is another fibres concealer similar to nanogen and just as good imo.

As for the shampoo choices i like RegenePure over any other shampoo personally.

I also use Regaine foam extra strength before bed.

Thanks Bulitnutt,

Do you use Regenpure DR as well as NT (or am I just better off with NT)?

Additionally do you use Surethick with another hair product i.e. wax or just use the Surethick and a little hairspray? Do you use Surethick on a daily basis?

Regards

Chris

Hi chris I use both regenepure the dr once or twice a week and the nt every morning to wash out the rogaine foam.

I don't use the concealers everyday , just for special occasions really, but they are good and I don't use any styling products with them just the fixing spray.

Thanks again Bullit, does anyone else use any other hair products i.e. Gel, Waxes, Mousse, etc for fine hair and if so which ones?

Regards

Chris

I started to wear a hairpiece, couldn't stand my thinning hair. Discovered a great line of shampoos and hair products that really protects my hair piece, try smartguysproducts it also works on your existing hairs...i use these products on whatever hair I still have left and it works..plus they don't use sulfates..:::C
