I’m susceptible to male pattern baldness and recently had a very stressful 2 months. This has led to an increase in shedding to the areas that I’m prone to male pattern baldness. This was of course due to a cortisol spike. My question is that if a cortisol spike leads to an increase in shedding, do these hairs have a potential of growing back? Or is the the follicle dead at this point?
