Oh yeah lol
My crown? Slooooooow!
6.5 months now, started seeing some progress about a month back.
The sides and top of crown area are coming in but bottom still looks sparse. As I say big old area to cover,12 months will tell the story.
Hows your hair looking?

on here i have heard the crown takes longer .. don’t know why though, would meds not speed it up? I know you don’t take them, I’ve been on meds since September, no problems so far . Cosmetically it’s looking real good, only had second ht in august so pleased with the results so far… are you happy what Farjo did ?

Time will tell mate,it’s hard to tell when real growth only started a month or so ago.I will hold judgement until the year/18 month mark.
Great to hear you are growing well.

Hi mate, how’s the crown looking ?
Well I’m one year out and all though a lot better than before (see pic 2+3) I expected (probably foolishly) a little more coverage.
The top and laterals have filled up substantially but as we know the crown is a big old area to cover.
Saw Dr Farjo in May and he suggested oral Min so I started that a month ago so we will see how that goes.
Also am growing it a bit as I have never grown it too long because of the “glaring crown”.

Hi mate, looking good .. love the blond look
im realising now that its only a cosmetic look and if it’ gives us more confidence than it did when we were bald it’s a good thing.
ive gone the other way and was using alpecin grey attack, was looking ok till Dr Ball shaved it all off, he and his team were excellent though, an enjoyable day .
oral minoxidil May thicken it up , let me know if anything changes plz.

Yeah I was using just for men shampoo to darken it and it looked ok,then I convinced my missus(who’s a hairstylist) to dye it brown, big mistake I looked ridiculous!
Only option left was to bleach it or shave it,so we bleached.Looked ok.
2-3 weeks later I asked her to go over it again….2nd big mistake it literally turned to chewing gum and was coming apart in my fingers lol
Just leaving it be for now…..maybe some just for men when it’s longer .
Yeah your right with the cosmetic look thing, just wish I had about 500 approx grafts spread about in there.

Hi Balody. As you know crowns take a lot of grafts. The illusion doesn’t work as well as the frontal half due to hair angulation etc. Your does look decent considering where you started from. Hopefully, the oral minoxidil helps.
How many donor grafts do you have left?

Saw Dr Farjo in May and he said we could go in again if I wanted and that he’d like to finish the job off,so I’m assuming I have enough donor left.
We agreed to give it another 6 months with the help of Min and see how it looks.
I’m really happy with the top of the crown and lateral humps btw.
Its a shame because I reckon if the sides hadn’t needed doing, 2000 concentrated in the crown alone would have had a decent effect.
As you can see though they clearly needed doing.

Dr Ball is amazing, only person I trusted with my repairs. And he gets great results with relatively few grafts, maybe do a consultation with him as well as you're not in a rush
